Autumn in The Trossachs

Autumn is a very special time to visit Callander & The Trossachs, a time of nature’s plenty with nuts, seeds and berries in the hedgerows and woodlands and a time of change as the surrounding native woodlands are transformed by the glorious autumn colours.
The Trossachs natural scenic beauty is stunning at any time of year but autumn has been described as it’s “finest hour” by nature writer Jim Crumley. Step out in to The Trossachs this autumn, the entire area is a paradise for walkers and photographers. The Brig o’ Turk Loop at Glen Finglas featured in The Guardian’s “20 Great UK walks with Pubs, Chosen by Nature Writers” and is just one of the many wonderful walks waiting to be explored , from gentle woodland walks to challenging hill paths, there’s something for everyone.
